Contracts are one of the most powerful tools in Maroo — they help you set clear expectations, outline deliverables, and define payment terms so both you and your clients feel confident from day one. Whether you're booking a new client or organizing your workflow, contracts keep everything aligned, professional, and easy to track.
With Maroo, creating and managing contracts is simple, flexible, and built to fit the way you work.
✨ Why Contracts Matter
A solid contract protects both you and your clients. It ensures everyone understands the scope of work, timelines, responsibilities, and payment expectations before anything begins. No confusion. No surprises. Just clarity.
Maroo makes this process seamless by giving you a centralized place to create, send, sign, and store all your contracts.

📍 Your Contracts Dashboard
Here’s what you’ll see when you open your Contracts dashboard:
📄 Contract Name — The title of each contract so you can quickly identify it.
👤 Client Name — The client associated with the contract.
📧 Client Email — The email address used for sending and signing.
🎉 Event Name — The event linked to the contract (if applicable).
🏷 Event Type — Wedding, corporate, general, or any category you’ve assigned.
📅 Event Date — When the event is scheduled to take place.
🗓 Created At — The date the contract was created or uploaded.
🔖 Status — Shows whether the contract is a draft, pending signature, or fully signed.
📝 Note: This is where you can easily track all your contracts, see their status at a glance, and stay organized as you manage your client agreements.
🎛 Filter Options
When you click the Filter button, you’ll see these options:
🔖 Status — Filter contracts by where they are in the signing process (Draft, Sent, Signed).
🏷 Event Type — Narrow results by event category such as Wedding, Corporate, or General.
📅 Event Date — View contracts tied to events happening within a specific date range.
🗓 Created At — Filter based on when the contract was created or uploaded.
📄 Type — Choose between e‑signed contracts, uploaded PDFs, or templates.
📝 Note: Filters help you quickly narrow down your contract list so you can find exactly what you need without scrolling. Use them anytime you want a clearer, more focused view of your contracts.
📤 Exporting
If you want a full snapshot of your contracts, you can export them at any time. Click the Export button at the top of your dashboard, and an Excel file will automatically download with a complete list of all your contracts — including names, clients, event details, dates, and signature statuses.
This makes it easy to review your records, share information with your team, or keep everything organized for reporting.
📂 Inside Each Contract
When you open any contract from your dashboard, you’ll see a detailed view with everything you need in one place:
📄 Contract Details — The contract name, event information, event type, date, and location.
📎 Attachments — Any files included with the contract, such as PDFs or supporting documents, ready to download.
🖊 Signers — A list of everyone who needs to sign, along with their email and current signature status (Draft, Pending Signature, Signed).
