Sending Contract Reminders

Learn how to send contract reminders in Maroo to prompt clients for signatures and keep your agreements moving forward.

What Happens When You Click “Send Reminder”?

Each time you click “Send Reminder”, Maroo automatically sends a new reminder email to your client. The email includes:

  • A notification that a contract is awaiting their review

  • A direct link to view and sign the contract

  • Clear call-to-action instructions

  • A polite and professional tone, without aggressive or urgent language

How to Preview the Reminder Email

The easiest way to see exactly what your client receives is to:

  1. Create a new test contract using an alternate email address you own

  2. Select the contract that you created

  3. Click “Send Reminder”

  4. Check your inbox to view the reminder email

This allows you to experience the full client journey exactly as they see it — including the reminder format, content, and tone.

Should I Send a Manual Reminder Instead?

In most cases, using the built-in “Send Reminder” button is sufficient. It keeps communication consistent and avoids duplicate messaging.

If you decide to send a personal follow-up email as well, we recommend keeping it friendly and supportive, rather than urgent.

💡Reminder:

  • Every time you press “Send Reminder,” a new email is sent to the client

  • Clicking the button multiple times results in multiple reminders being delivered

  • Space reminders appropriately to maintain a professional client experience
