Why Am I Being Asked to Upgrade to Pay My Contractors?

Learn how monthly billing cycles affect single contractor payments, including when payments can be processed and why future scheduling may not be available.

📅 Why You’re Seeing a Paywall When Scheduling a Single Contractor Payment

If you’re seeing a paywall or unable to schedule a future single contractor payment, it’s due to how monthly billing cycles work for single payments in Maroo.

⚠️ Important note:

Single payments can only be processed within your current monthly billing cycle, which means future‑dated scheduling isn’t supported at this time.

💡 How Single Payments Work

Single contractor payments must be submitted during your active billing cycle.

Here’s what that means:

  • You can process single payments only within the current billing cycle

  • Once you’ve reached your limit for the current cycle, you’ll need to wait until the next cycle begins to submit another single payment

Example

If you’ve already used your available single payments for May 21–June 20, you’ll need to wait until June 21 to create another payment.

🔄 Is This a New Update?

No — this is not a new change.

This has always been the expected behavior for single payments. While advanced scheduling may have appeared to work in certain situations before, single payments are currently designed to be processed only during the active billing cycle.
