How To Share Contract Links

Learn how to share contracts with clients via a link, save drafts, and control when they receive the contract.

Maroo allows you to create and share contracts with clients in a way that works best for your workflow. This guide explains how to use contract links, save drafts, and control when your clients receive them.

Sharing a Contract Using Contract Links

Once you’ve finished creating a contract, you don’t have to send it directly via email. You can:

  • Copy the contract link and share it manually with your client—attach it to another document or send it via text.

  • Click “Send Reminder” to automatically send an email to the client using the email address associated with the contract.

This gives you flexibility in how and when your client receives the contract.

Sending for Signature

After clicking “Send for Signature”, an email will automatically be sent to your client.

If you prefer not to send it immediately—for example, if you’re waiting to share a design board—you can save the contract as a draft by clicking the “X” button. This lets you finalize everything before the client receives the contract.

Flexibility and Control

Currently, contracts are sent via email once you click “Send for Signature.” While automatic text sending isn’t available yet, you can still manually copy the contract link and share it via text or any other method you prefer.

💡 Tip: Using contract links gives you the same level of control you enjoy with invoices, letting you share contracts on your own terms.

Key Takeaways

  • You can copy the contract link and share it manually.

  • “Send for Signature” automatically emails the client.

  • Save as a draft if you want to delay sending.

  • Contract links allow flexible sharing, similar to invoices.
