Whether you prefer sending a direct email, sharing a link manually, or saving a draft until everything is ready, you stay in full control of the process. This guide walks you through how contract links work, how to delay sending, and how to manage drafts.

📤 Sharing a Contract Using Contract Links

Once you’ve finished creating a contract, you don’t have to send it immediately via email. Instead, you can choose how and when your client receives it.

Here are your options:

  • 🔗 Copy the contract link — You can send it to your client through SMS, email, or any other communication channel you use.

  • ✉️ Send Reminder — Automatically send an email to the client using the email address associated with the contract.

Using contract links gives you more control over timing and communication, especially if you prefer to send everything together in one message.

🖊️ Sending a Contract for Signature

When you click Send for Signature, Maroo automatically emails the contract to your client.

If you’re not ready to send it yet—for example, if you want to share a design board or additional materials first—you can:

  • Save the contract as a draft by clicking the X

  • ✔️ Finalize everything before sending it to your client

Saving as a draft ensures your client only receives the contract when you’re ready.

⚙️ Flexibility and Control

Contracts are currently sent via email once you click Send for Signature. While automatic text messaging isn’t available yet, you can still:

  • 📱 Copy the contract link and send it via text

  • 💬 Share it through any communication channel you prefer
