How Do I Complete Stripe Verification in Maroo?

If Stripe needs additional information for your account, you’ll see a notification directly in your Maroo dashboard.


Maroo recently transitioned our card payment processing to Stripe, and Stripe requires certain verification steps for every account on the platform. These checks help ensure that your payouts continue to move smoothly and securely, and they’re now a standard part of setting up or maintaining your Maroo account.

Step 1: Check for the Verification Banner

Log in to your Maroo dashboard and look for a yellow banner at the top of the page. This banner appears when Stripe requires more information to verify or maintain your account.

Step 2: Submit the Requested Information

If the banner appears:

  • Click Add missing information

  • Follow the prompts to submit the requested details

  • Upload any required documents

Once submitted, Stripe will review the information.

Review Time

Most verification reviews are completed within about 48 hours.

Your account status will update automatically once the review is finished.

What Happens If My Documents Are Rejected?

If Stripe rejects a document, you’ll be notified and asked to upload a corrected version.

When submitting new documents, make sure:

  • The information matches your account details exactly

  • The document matches official government records

  • All text and images are clear, current, and readable

Once you upload the updated documents, Stripe will review them again and notify you when the process is complete.
