You now have a more powerful set of filters to help you quickly narrow down your invoice list. These filters are designed around the most common ways vendors search for invoices — by status, payment method, payment type, due dates, and payment dates.

Click the Filter button at the top of your invoice list This opens the full filter panel so you can narrow down your results.
Your filter choices will appear You’ll see options for Status, Method, Payment Type, Created Date, Due Date, and Paid On — all ready to customize.
Each filter works independently or together, giving you full control over how you view your data. You’ll see the full list of options below, along with what each one means.
🔖 Status Filter Options
The Status filter lets you narrow down your invoice list based on where each invoice is in its lifecycle. This is especially helpful when you want to quickly identify invoices that need attention, track payments, or review activity.

Invoices that need your attention — for example, missing information, pending updates, or steps you must complete before the invoice can move forward.
Use this when: You want to quickly resolve items blocking your workflow.

Use this when: You need to follow up with the client or resend an updated invoice.

Invoices that have been sent and are currently awaiting payment, but are not past their due date.
Use this when: You want to see all outstanding invoices that are still within their payment window.

Use this when: You want to track payments recorded outside Maroo.

Why it’s helpful:
Quickly check what needs attention, what’s overdue, or what’s already completed.
💳 Method Filter
Filter invoices by the payment method your client used. This helps you quickly understand how payments were made and makes reconciliation much easier.
Available options
ACH Payments made directly from a bank account.
Credit card Payments completed using a credit card.
Debit card Payments completed using a debit card.
Why it’s helpful
This filter is especially useful when you’re:
Reviewing processing fees
Tracking how clients prefer to pay
Preparing financial reports
Reconciling payouts with your bank statements
You can select one or multiple methods at the same time, or choose All to view every invoice regardless of payment method.
🏷 Payment Type Filter
The Payment Type filter lets you narrow down invoices based on the type of transaction associated with them. This is especially helpful when you want to review specific financial activity — like refunds, gratuities, or autopay charges.
Available options:
💁♀️ Gratuity — Transactions that include a tip added by the client.
💵 Payment — Standard invoice payments — deposits, remaining balances, or full payments.
↩️ Refund — Transactions where funds were returned to the client.
🔁 Autopay — Payments automatically charged using a saved payment method.
Why it’s helpful:
This filter makes it easy to review refunds, track gratuities, identify autopay activity, or focus on standard payments for reporting.
🗂 Created Date Filter
The Created Date filter helps you find invoices based on when they were originally created. This is especially useful when reviewing recent activity, tracking new invoices, or organizing your workflow by creation timelines.
Available options
🗓 Last 7 days — Shows invoices created within the past week. Great for quick weekly reviews or checking new activity.
📆 Last 15 days — Expands your view to invoices created in the last two weeks. Helpful for mid‑month tracking or follow‑ups.
🗃 Last month — Displays invoices created anytime in the previous calendar month. Perfect for monthly reporting or reconciling new invoices.
🛠 Custom — Choose any date range you need. Ideal when searching for invoices created around a specific event, client, or timeframe.
This filter makes it easy to:
Review newly created invoices
Track your billing activity over time
Prepare weekly or monthly summaries
Identify invoices created for specific clients or events

The Due Date filter helps you quickly find invoices based on when they are (or were) due. This is especially useful for tracking upcoming deadlines or identifying overdue items.

📆 Last 15 days — Expands your view to invoices due in the last two weeks. Helpful for mid‑month check‑ins.
