Invoice Filters (New & Improved)

Use powerful new filters to quickly narrow down your invoice list by status, payment method, payment type, and key dates.

You now have a more powerful set of filters to help you quickly narrow down your invoice list. These filters are designed around the most common ways vendors search for invoices — by status, payment method, payment type, due dates, and payment dates.

🧩 How it works

  • Click the Filter button at the top of your invoice list This opens the full filter panel so you can narrow down your results.

  • Your filter choices will appear You’ll see options for Status, Method, Payment Type, Created Date, Due Date, and Paid On — all ready to customize.

Each filter works independently or together, giving you full control over how you view your data. You’ll see the full list of options below, along with what each one means.

🔖 Status Filter Options

The Status filter lets you narrow down your invoice list based on where each invoice is in its lifecycle. This is especially helpful when you want to quickly identify invoices that need attention, track payments, or review activity.

Below are all available status options and what each one means. (Click the arrow button to see description)

🟠 Action Required

Use this when: You want to quickly resolve items blocking your workflow.

❌ Declined

Invoices that were declined by the client or could not be processed.

Use this when: You need to follow up with the client or resend an updated invoice.

Use this when: You want to track payments recorded outside Maroo.

💰 Paid

Invoices that have been fully paid through Maroo.

Use this when: You’re reviewing completed transactions or preparing financial reports.

🔴 Past Due

Invoices that have passed their due date and remain unpaid.

Use this when: You need to follow up with clients or prioritize overdue payments.

⏳ Pending

Invoices that are in a pending state — often waiting for processing or confirmation.

Use this when: You want to monitor items that are not yet finalized.

↩️ Refunded

Invoices that have been refunded, either partially or fully.
