📅 Choosing a Period for Your Invoice Report

When downloading your invoice report, you can select a specific period to filter which invoices are included. This helps you focus on the exact set of invoices you need.

Custom period

For a Custom period, there is a dropdown to choose between Invoice Date and Payment Date:

  • Payment Date → Shows only invoices that have been paid, filtered by the date payment was received. Useful for tracking cash flow or settled invoices.

  • Invoice Date → Shows all invoices (including unpaid), filtered by the date the invoice was created. Helpful for reviewing all issued invoices.

Predefined Periods

  • Current month, Last month, Last year → Automatically use the Invoice Date filter.

  • These options show all invoices created within the selected timeframe, giving you a complete overview of billing activity.

By selecting the right filter, you can generate reports tailored to your needs—whether you want to focus on issued invoices or only payments received.

📋 What Information Will Be Included?

Your exported invoice report provides a comprehensive overview of invoice activity for the selected period. The Excel file includes:

  • Invoice ID

  • Created date (when the invoice was issued)

  • Invoice status (Paid, Past due, Refunded)

  • Event date

  • Payment reference

  • Due date

  • Payment date

  • Client name and email

  • Payment method (credit card, bank transfer, ACH)

  • Payment due (amount owed)

  • Amount paid

  • Tax information (tax collected, taxable sales, tax percentage)

  • Gross sales

  • Fees (paid by business and/or client)

This report gives you a clear financial snapshot, making it easy to reconcile payments, share data with your accountant, or analyze business performance.
