Choosing a Period for Your Invoice Report
When downloading your invoice report, you can select a specific period to filter which invoices are included. This helps you focus on the exact set of invoices you need.
Custom period
For a Custom period, there is a dropdown to choose between Invoice Date and Payment Date:
Payment date – Shows only invoices that have been paid, filtered by the date the payment was received. This is useful if you want to track cash flow or see which invoices were settled during a specific time.
Invoice date – Shows all invoices, including unpaid ones, filtered by the date the invoice was created. This is helpful for reviewing all issued invoices, regardless of payment status.
Predefined periods
Current month, Last month, and Last year automatically use the Invoice Date filter. These options show all invoices created within the selected timeframe, giving you a complete overview of your billing activity for that period.
By selecting the right period and filter, you can generate reports tailored to your needs—whether you want to focus on issued invoices or only the payments received.
