How Do I Pay an Invoice on Behalf of My Client?

Learn how to pay a Maroo invoice on behalf of your client using their authorized card details and the correct checkout process.

If your client has authorized you to make a payment using their card details, you can pay the invoice on their behalf directly through the invoice link.

Before you proceed

Make sure:

  • You have your client’s permission to use their payment details.

  • The card details are entered accurately.

  • You use the client’s information during checkout (not your own), as using your own email may cause payment issues or errors.

Steps to pay an invoice on behalf of your client

  • Open the invoice

Go to your Maroo dashboard and click on the invoice you’d like to pay.

  • Copy the invoice link

From the invoice page, copy the invoice link.

  • Open the link in a new tab

Paste the invoice link into a new browser tab.

This allows you to access the invoice as the client would.

  • Click Pay

Select the Pay button on the invoice.

  • Enter your client’s payment details

Input the client’s card information and complete the payment.

Important:

Use your client’s:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Billing details

Do not use your own contact information, as this can create processing issues.

For security and compliance:
