There can be several reasons why you didn’t receive a confirmation email after creating an invoice. However, one of the most common possibilities is that the invoice was not successfully sent.
When an invoice is created, it is first saved in the system but not automatically delivered.
⚠️ Important note: The email confirmation is only triggered once the “Send Invoice” button is clicked. If this step is missed, the invoice remains in a created (unsent) state, meaning neither you nor your client will receive any email notifications.
If you attempt to exit without clicking that button, a warning message will appear letting you know that the invoice was not sent.
You may still be able to view, edit, or share it, but it won’t have been delivered through email. This is often why users don’t receive a confirmation email—they’re expecting it right after creating the invoice, but the sending step hasn’t been completed yet.
🔗 Sharing an Invoice Without Sending
If you prefer not to send the invoice via email, you can still share it manually:
You can copy and send the invoice link directly to your client
This is useful if you want to share it through chat or other messaging platforms
You can go back to the invoice and send it properly using the “Send Invoice” button. If you prefer not to send it via email, you can also share it manually by copying the invoice link.
That link can be sent through SMS, WhatsApp, or any messaging platform your client uses. This is a quick way to deliver the invoice without going through the email flow.
You can also set a reminder to send it later if needed, especially if you want to review details before sharing.
