Creating A Quote Template

Create clear, customizable quotes with line items, taxes, and payment schedules using Maroo’s template tools.


Quotes on Maroo allow you to send clients a professional price estimate with detailed line items, taxes, and a customizable payment schedule. You can also save your quote as a reusable template—perfect for clients with similar needs or recurring services.

What you can do with Quotes

  • Provide clients with a clear price estimate before creating an invoice

  • Add detailed line items (e.g., reception venue, catering, photography)

  • Mark items as taxable and automatically calculate tax

  • Build a custom payment schedule with up to 24 payments

  • Choose your preferred payment methods

  • Save your setup as a template for future clients

How to create a Quote Template

  • Go to Templates
    From your Maroo dashboard, open the Templates section.

  • Click “Create Template”
    This starts the template creation flow.

  • Select “Quote Template"
    Choose the Quote option to build a price estimate template.

  • Add detailed line items
    Enter each service or product you’re quoting—such as:

    • Reception venue

    • Food and drinks

    • Live band

    • Photography

    • Rentals

    • Coordination fees

For each line item, you can:

  • Mark whether it’s taxable

  • See the calculated tax amount update automatically

  • Add a payment schedule
    - Click Add payment to create your schedule.
    - Add as many payments as you need (up to 24 payments)
    - Adjust the due date for each payment
    - Break down the total however you prefer

  • Select your payment methods
    Maroo lets you choose how you want to get paid, giving you flexibility to match your business needs and your clients’ preferences.

    Available payment methods:

    • ACH

    • Credit and debit cards

    • Checks

  • Review your quote details
    Double‑check your line items, taxes, payment schedule, and payment methods.
    When everything looks correct, click Continue.

  • Add a template name and notes (optional)
    Give your template a clear name so you can easily reuse it later.
    Click Create Template to save it.

Sending your Quote

After creating your template, click Send quote to deliver it to a client.
You can also send it later anytime from your dashboard.

  • Go to Templates tab on your dashboard

  • Select the template that you want to send then click "Email quote"

  • Enter your client's details then click "Send quote"

📝 If you are sending it to another business, simply toggle "My client is a business" and enter the business' details
