The Leads feature in Maroo gives you a simple, centralized way to collect, organize, and manage all your inquiries. Instead of tracking conversations across emails, spreadsheets, and scattered notes, you can now handle your entire lead pipeline directly within Maroo.
What is the Leads feature?
The Leads feature is Maroo’s built‑in mini‑CRM designed to help you:
• Capture inquiries through customizable lead forms
• Track and manage every lead from a dedicated dashboard
• Convert leads into clients seamlessly, without switching tools
It’s built to streamline your process, reduce manual work, and ensure no opportunity slips through the cracks.
Where to Find Leads
Open your Maroo dashboard.
Click on Leads in the navigation menu.
You’ll see a list of all leads that have been submitted.
Leads overview
All inquiries are displayed in a table format with the following columns:
Name — The full name of the person who submitted the inquiry.
Email — The contact email address provided by the lead.
Phone Number — The phone number submitted with the inquiry.
Date of Enquiry — The date the inquiry was received.
Assigned To — Shows which team member is responsible for handling the lead.
Status — Displays the current stage of the inquiry.
ℹ️ Every lead submitted is automatically added here, so you don’t need to enter anything manually. In this article, you will learn how to create a Lead template.
Lead details
To access detailed information about a lead, click on the individual lead from the list and a pop up on the right side of the screen will appear.
Within the lead profile, you can view key information of the client including:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Event date
From this page, you can also take immediate action by:
Sending an email directly to the lead
Assigning the lead to a team member for follow-up
Scroll to the Activity section to view the lead’s current status and a timeline of related updates. You can also add internal notes to track important details, follow-ups, or team communication.
📝 Each note includes the author’s name along with the date and time it was created, ensuring transparency and clear collaboration.
Managing Leads
You can manage your leads directly from the platform. Simply click the three dots on a selected lead to access available status options.
What each Lead status means
Send Email — allows you to directly contact them using their registered email address.
Mark as In Progress — updates the lead’s status to indicate that the inquiry is currently being handled.
Mark as Converted — indicates that the lead has successfully turned into a customer or confirmed client.
Mark as Lost — indicates that the lead will not move forward.
Filtering Leads
The Leads section’s Filter feature lets you quickly sort inquiries by status, team member the lead was assigned to, or enquiry date. On the top-right corner of the Leads list, find the Filter button (see screenshot below).
📝 You can quickly filter and organize leads based on their current status.
Below are the available status options based on the descriptions provided above:
💡You can also organize and filter leads based on the team member assigned to them. This allows you to easily track individual workloads, monitor performance, and ensure accountability by viewing which leads are being handled by specific team members.
📅 Use the Enquiry Date filter to narrow down your leads based on when the enquiry was made. For more specific analysis, choose Custom period to define your own date range.
💡Tip: Keeping your leads organized by updating statuses, adding notes, and assigning ownership ensures timely follow-ups, better team coordination, and a higher chance of converting enquiries into bookings.
