To make a payment using Plaid, please follow these simple steps.
1. Click on + Add new payment method
2. Choose Bank transfer
3. Once the Plaid interface pops up, please read through the information presented and click Continue
4. Start typing your bank name and choose it in the drop down list. If you can't find your bank in the list, it means that Plaid doesn't support this particular institutions and you will need to make the payment via alternative payment method (i.e. cards that can be processed on Maroo as well)
5. Once you found your bank, log in with your online banking credentials. All information that you enter is secure and not available to Maroo.
6. Once you added information, click Submit
7. Plaid will prompt you which bank accounts you would like to connect. Please note that Maroo is able to connect only to CHECKING accounts.
8. Once the connection is established, you will see a success screen like the one below.
9. After your account is connected, it will show up in the list of available payment methods. If its not highlighted, please click on the bank account, and click the payment button. This will initiate the charge from your account.
10. Once the payment is completed you will see a confirmation window
11. And you will be able to download the receipt of your payment.
