How to edit your payment request?

Editing your payment request on Maroo is easy. Follow these steps to make necessary changes.

After you created a payment request, you can make any changes in its structure until your client attempts to make a payment for one of the enclosed invoices.

If your client already made a payment for one of the invoices, you will only be able to edit other invoices within the same payment request.

  • On your dashboard, click on any invoice within the payment request you'd like to edit

  • In the bottom, click Edit button

  • In this example, let's say we want to change the number of payment milestone and reduce them from three (50-25-25) to two (50%-50%).

  • You will need to delete the third invoice by clicking on the X sign and then adjusting the amount of the second invoice to $7,500 (50%) to reflect the new structure of payment request. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion of the invoice to prevent occasional manual errors.

  • After changes were made, click Continue. You will be offered to adjust payment methods (if needed). Click Finish.

  • You will be prompted to review and confirm the changes. After you click "Save changes" both you and your clients will receive an email notification about the payment request changes.
