Once a contract has been signed by all parties, it becomes legally binding. For this reason, contracts cannot be edited or canceled within Maroo after they are fully signed.

This ensures the integrity of signed agreements and protects both you and your client by preserving an accurate, enforceable record of what was agreed to.

How Do I Handle Event or Service Cancellations?

If a service or event needs to be canceled after a contract has been signed, you can create a separate cancellation agreement and send it to your client for signature.

A cancellation agreement allows you to:

  • Clearly document the cancellation terms

  • Outline any refunds, fees, or rescheduling details

  • Maintain a complete paper trail without altering the original contract

The original signed contract remains unchanged and on file, while the cancellation agreement serves as an official record of the updated arrangement.
