Why a P.O. Box Cannot Be Used as a Mailing Address
When updating your account, you may notice that P.O. Box addresses are not accepted in the mailing address field. This is because federal regulations require a valid physical residential or business address for verification purposes. These rules are designed to:
Prevent fraud and unauthorized account access
Ensure accurate identity verification
Maintain the security of financial transactions and accounts
What This Means for Your Account
To complete account verification and keep your Maroo account compliant, you’ll need to provide a physical address. While the field is labeled “mailing address,” the system requires a real business address to perform the necessary checks.
How to Update Your Mailing Address
On your Maroo dashboard, go to Settings.
Select Contact Info & Profile Image
💡In this section of your settings, you can update your address, contact number, and add your social links.
Fill out the needed information for your physical address.
✏️ You can also indicate whether your mailing address matches your business address before entering or editing your details.
Scroll down and click Save.
🔔 Before saving, please double‑check your details to make sure all the information is correct.
Providing a physical address ensures that verification processes are completed quickly, avoids delays, and keeps your account in compliance with regulations.
