How to Update Your Bank Details for Client Payments (Incoming & Outgoing)

This is separate from the Subscription & Billing tab, which only controls how you pay for your Maroo subscription.


If you need to change the bank account used for sending or receiving payments with clients, you can update it in the Wallet section of your Maroo account.

When to update your payment bank account

You should update your bank details in Wallet if:

  • You closed the bank account previously used for client payments

  • You want payments from clients deposited into a new account

  • You want to send payments from a different bank account

How to update your bank account

  • Log in to your Maroo account and go to the Wallet tab

  • Click Add New Method

  • Enter your new bank account information

  • Set the new account as your Default

Setting the account as default ensures that all future incoming and outgoing payments use the correct bank account.

What happens after updating?

Once the new account is set as Default, all future payments will use that account. Past transactions will remain unchanged.
